Diagnosis Code Requirements for Dental Claims - Effective for dates of service September 1, 2021 and forward, the DSS is implementing dental claim submission diagnosis code requirements to further align electronic claim submission with the 2019 ADA Form common format for reporting dental services. All dental claims with "from" dates of service of September 1, 2021 and forward will post and pay EOB code 258 "Primary Diagnosis Code Missing" when the diagnosis code is missing at the header of the claim.

CT State Dental Association Urges Dental Professionals To Get Vaccinated - Dental professionals should get vaccinated for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, according to the Connecticut State Dental Association in a recently released statement. The Association, which advocates for its 2,300 members statewide, "strongly" encourages dental professionals to get vaccinated in accordance with the American Dental Association's policy, the statement reads.
